When you press the keep warm button once, boiling water reaches the target temperature and then goes into warm mode. If you press the keep warm button twice, boiling water is kept to 212°F, then after cooling to the target temperature.
• Safety Functions - With the Strix temperature control, the kettle automatically switches off as soon as the water has reached the selected temperature. When the water is almost dried out, the kettle protects against overheating and switches off automatically.
